Local Evacuation/Sheltering
Regional emergency shelters are opened as needed in consultation with various state and local agencies and in conjunction with the Red Cross. If a local disaster warrants the opening of a shelter, this information will be provided to the public via various communication platforms.
Some of the locations we may use as regional emergency shelters are:

A reception center may be used as a very short-term location to stage individuals while further assistance is being arranged.
