Hopkinton is a historic town located in the southwest corner of Rhode Island. The town is 44 square miles, with a population of approximately 8,000 residents. Hopkinton was incorporated in March of 1757 and includes the villages of Ashaway, Bradford, Hope Valley, and Rockville. Hopkinton has over 1,000 acres of open space, supporting various recreational activities, including hiking, fishing, and canoeing.
The Town of Hopkinton is part of the Chariho School District, which also includes the towns of Charlestown and Richmond.
