Important Information about Residential Waste Disposal

 

Attention Property Owners

Please be aware the revaluation process has begun and the Town of Hopkinton has hired Vision Government Solutions to assist in the project. The revaluation team has started their field work, which includes visiting each parcel in town for interior verifications and measuring each residential home and outbuilding. The team members will wear identification and may attempt to verify interior aspects of the home. Please contact the Assessor’s office with any concerns at (401) 377-7780.

Hopkinton is a historic town located in the southwest corner of Rhode Island. The town is 44 square miles, with a population of approximately 8,000 residents. Hopkinton was incorporated in March of 1757 and includes the villages of Ashaway, Bradford, Hope Valley, and Rockville. Hopkinton has over 1,000 acres of open space, supporting various recreational activities, including hiking, fishing, and canoeing.

 

The Town of Hopkinton is part of the Chariho School District, which also includes the towns of Charlestown and Richmond.
