As part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, the CHARIHO REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT has received grant funds administered through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) Fund. However, we are currently awaiting our ESSER III funds from RIDE and we are looking for your input. The goal of this funding is to provide states with funding to support the nation’s schools in safely reopening and sustaining safe operations of our schools while meeting the academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of students resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. The ESSER III funds must be prioritized for in-person learning and learning loss mitigation. Please take a few minutes to provide your feedback and input into our planning process.
