Hopkinton StoryWalk

Hopkinton StoryWalk®

The Hopkinton Land Trust, Ashaway Free Library and Langworthy Public Library are excited to bring a StoryWalk® to Hopkinton. A StoryWalk® is a great way for children and families to benefit from fresh air and movement, enjoying nature and literature as they read from laminated story pages that are placed on signboards along a path or trail. Our first StoryWalk®, Possum and the Summer Storm, written and illustrated by Anne Hunter, will be located along the trail at Grills Wildlife Sanctuary on Chase Hill Rd in Hopkinton. It will be up from July 1-August 6 (depending on how it is impacted by the weather). For more information please contact the Ashaway or Langworthy libraries.

The Hopkinton StoryWalk® is a collaboration between the Hopkinton Land Trust and the Ashaway Free and Langworthy Public Libraries.  The StoryWalk®  Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Funds from OLIS (Office of Library and Information Services) and the IMLS (Institute of Museums and Library Services) were used to support this project.
