Deputy Finance Clerk Position

DEPUTY FINANCE CLERK  

HOPKINTON, RI: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, union position. Candidates must possess an associate’s degree; at least three years’ experience in a financial position or related work capacity; a working knowledge of Paychex, Excel and MS Word software programs; and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced office. Under the direction of the Finance Director, duties include: maintaining records for accounts payable and receivables; preparing vouchers for payment; generating checks to vendors authorized by Finance Director; maintaining payroll records and employees’ accrued leave timeand dealing effectively with public officials, employees and the public. Interested persons must submit a cover letter and resume to Town Manager Brian M.
