Mission
The Assessor's
Office is responsible for identifying and valuing all real (real estate),
tagible (business) property, and vehicles in the Town of Hopkinton,
for taxation purposes. The Assessor's Office also administers state
and local programs for exemption such as elderly, veteran, farm, forest,
and open space. Every three years, the Office conducts a townwide
revaluation updating all values to the current market. Valuations
determined by the Assessor may be appealed to the Board of Tax Review
within 90 days of the first payment due date. |

on Proration |
| Properties will be valued
as of December 31st of each year based on the previous revaluation
date and billed in September. New construction completed after December
31 will be assessed from the C.O. (certificate of occupancy) date
or date completed to the end of year and billed between July and
November.
